Meet Our Team
” I see it as a privilege to walk beside my clients in their journeys. My clients inspire me through their dedication and drive to be the best version of themselves .” -Jessie VanDeVelde Moreno, LMFT
I view life’s difficulties as challenges along life’s journey: problems are inevitable visitors in all of our lives. I believe that my clients have the resources they need to change their path in a way that honors their preferred way of living.I have a collaborative approach to change. I believe each client is unique and each therapeutic solution is as different as the clients I serve. Through my clients, I learn about their experiences, how they understand the problem that brought them to therapy, their hopes, strengths, and resources. Together we co-explore possibilities for change.

You’re not alone in your journey! “You’ve mastered survival mode. Now it’s time to live.” -Unknown-
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Master’s in Social Work from Valdosta State University and began working in the mental health field while completing my degree. My specialties encompass matters related to complex trauma and attachment issues, including adult and children of narcissist parents. I believe each person is unique. Therefore, I use an integrative therapeutic style to best fit specific individual needs. In addition, I am trained in EMDR and play therapy and offer both approaches in my practice. I provide a calm, safe space to express yourself and be heard, uninterrupted without judgement. You will be greeted with earth tones and soothing images, promoting relaxation and coping. I strive to show compassion, and provide support, encouragement, and help develop insight throughout the journey to personal autonomy. On the path to self-discovery, you will learn how to care for yourself by developing techniques to self-reflect, communicate needs, and coping skills to manage difficult emotions.

“To this day, one of the greatest honors of my life is when people trust me enough to share the hard parts of their story.” – Unknown-
Everyone’s story is unique and their own. I believe that my clients have the ability to change the narrative of their story. As a collaborative and systemic therapist, I work with my clients to co-create change. I do not believe therapy is a “one size fits all” treatment; rather, since everyone’s story is their own, therapy should be their own as well. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with different groups such as families, couples, and individual. I look forward to working with you.
